Spinal manipulation continues to be one of the most effective and safest forms of treatment for patients suffering low back pain, leg pain (sciatica), and herniated discs. Those unfamiliar with the literature often erroneously state that rotational manipulation is contraindicated for the treatment of herniated disc. Yet architecturally, the joints of the low back actually prevent the extreme rotation required to actually tear the outer fibers of the disc. Additionally, numerous treatments exist for the non-surgical, and drug free treatment of disc herniation, including flexion distraction, lumbar decompression, and a myriad of other effective chiropractic techniques.

Dr. Farabaugh houses a large database of research concerning spinal manipulation, low back pain, leg pain, and herniated disc, and is well versed in accepted guidelines and standards. If a malpractice suit does occur, Dr. Farabaugh is available to review the case and provide a professional opinion and/or expert testimony. Simply call 614-898-0787 if you need assistance.
