About Dr. Farabaugh

In
1994 he was appointed by Governor Voinovich to serve on the
Healthcare Quality Advisory Council to help design managed
care programs for the BWC, specifically QHP. As a chiropractic
liaison to the BWC, he also works closely with the BWC on matters
associated with HPP. |

In
2003 Dr. Farabaugh was appointed to serve on the Council for
Chiropractic Guidelines and Practice Parameters (CCGPP)
a group created at the behest of all member organizations of
the Congress of Chiropractic State Associations (COCSA)
shortly after publication of the original Guidelines for
Chiropractic Quality Assurance and Practice Parameters (Mercy).
Current efforts are underway to update the original Mercy
document. |

President of the Ohio State Chiropractic Association. He now
serves as Treatment Guideline Chairman (2001-2003). |

Dr.
Farabaugh is a two-time recipient of the Chiropractor of the
Year award, an honor bestowed yearly to one member of
the Ohio State Chiropractic Association. |

Dr.
Farabaugh is also a two-time recipient of the OSCA's President's
Award. |

Appointed
as an alternate Chiropractic representative for the HB 222 committee.

malpractice review services for National Chiropractic Mutual
Insurance Company (NCMIC). |

Consulted
for numerous MCO's around the state and has lectured extensively
on documentation and Chiropractic Guidelines. |

He
is certified in LOW SPEED REAR IMPACT CRASH RECONSTRUCTION through
the Spine Research Institute of San Diego (SRISD), and
also holds a subspecialty as a Certified Chiropractic
Sports Physician. |

In
2003 Dr. Farabaugh founded Chiropractic Healthcare
Information and Research Office,
Ltd. (CHIRO Ltd), a company dedicated to education
and research and the development of products to assist
Chiropractic physicians in daily practice. These products are
developed by Chiropractors, for Chiropractors. |

In
2004 Dr. Farabaugh began a seminar series called, Chiropractic
Bootcamp, to inform other doctors of availability of contemporary
research and effective methods of disseminating that information
to other medical professionals, decision makers, and the general
public. |
