Dr. Ryan Smith received his undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology
from The Ohio State University. He completed an internship in the
Health-Related Fitness program at NASA’s Johnson Space Center.

Dr. Smith graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Texas Chiropractic
College, received the Keeler Award for Student Chiropractor of the Year
and was a member of the Omega Psi honor society. He completed an
orthopedic rotation at the Baylor Sports Medicine Institute, with Dr.
William Bryan, M.D., one of the Houston Astro’s team physicians. Post-
graduate training includes advanced studies in Clinical Nutrition and
Acupuncture certification. He is certified to perform Physical Impairment
Ratings by the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians, and
is an instructor for the American Red Cross Protect Your Back program.
Dr. Smith is a certified Active Release Techniques (ART) provider.
Dr. Smith provided treatment and support for the Senior Olympics, Relay for Life, and the MS 150. He served as a sports medicine advisor, and provided on-site support for the USA Fit marathon training programs. In addition, Dr. Smith has conducted corporate seminars on Postural Strain and Repetitive Stress for Microsoft, BP, Duke Energy, and Administaff. He is also a member of medical team for the Arnold Fitness Weekend.
