The vast majority of patients who consult our office, come in,
get treated, get well, and are released from care with instruction
on home management including exercise. In our experience, most patients
do not require a formalized rehabilitation program. However, in
more significant injuries, formal rehabilitation may be necessary.
The Farabaugh Chiropractic Office contains a complete rehabilitation
system that is user friendly and very effective in helping patients
regain their flexibility, strength, and core stability. Normally
the maximum number of rehabilitation sessions is 12, after which
we expect patients to incorporate exercise into their home routine,
or join a health club. Remember, when it comes to exercise and fitness,
one must think long-term.
Combined with traditional chiropractic techniques, rehabilitation
can effectively reduce pain, improve strength and function, help
a patient return to gainful employment, and help them remain at
work.
