The most common musculoskeletal injury in the work force remains
lower back sprain/strain, neck sprain/strain, and thoracic sprain/strain,
and extremity injury. The literature clearly suggests that spinal
manipulation is the treatment of choice for low back injury. Numerous
studies demonstrate that spinal manipulation can return a patient
to work in half the time, with half the cost, and with half the
disability compared to other forms of treatment. Recent studies
suggest that patients prefer non-drug forms of therapy.
For more difficult low back cases (herniated and bulging discs,
arthritis, and non-responsive mechanical low back pain), our office
is one of the only clinics in Columbus to offer Lumbar Decompression
Therapy (LDT) featuring the DRS 9000 system (similar to VAX-D).
If you want to avoid surgery, or are simply sick of chronic low
back pain, call our office for more details.
